Another Note Re: Flag Desecration Amendment

I wrote a couple posts ago about the Flag Desecration Amendment which passed a Senate subcommittee yesterday. And now I'm wondering just who are the flag burners congress is worried about? Is there someplace in the country where rampant flag burning is taking place? If so I haven't heard about it. The only flag burners I've seen in many years are on CNN - The most trusted name in news, and are in the Middle East. I think that is outside of US jurisdiction. Maybe not if W gets a chance to start a couple more wars. Until then maybe congress should concentrate on a few more important issues.
